About WellHaven
WellHaven Design was founded on the belief that our homes play a meaningful role in how we live and in our overall well-being.
Every project begins with trust, clear communication, and a desire
to understand what truly matters to the people who call the space home.
WellHaven focuses on creating environments that feel grounded,
cohesive, and aligned with everyday living for the clients we serve.
Our work is best suited for those who value guidance and trust
their home to be shaped through design expertise.
Hello! I’m Tara
founder and Principal designer
At WellHaven Design, I help homeowners bring clarity and intention to the places where they live every day. I believe good design is about creating spaces that function the way you need them to, look the way you want them to, and feel the way you hoped they would.
Before launching WellHaven Design, I spent nearly three decades in homebuilding working with homeowners and leading teams. My experience across sales, operations and marketing gives me a deep understanding of how residential projects move from ideas to decisions to construction, and how choices made early can affect the way a home functions long after it is complete.
My background also includes an active Florida real estate license, adding another layer to my perspective on homes, client priorities and the decisions that shape how a property serves the people who live there.
Today, I bring that breadth of residential experience to my work in interior design by listening closely, organizing ideas and details, looking beyond the decision in front of us to what it may affect next, and guiding clients toward choices that feel right, not rushed.
My role is to help you stay connected to the decisions that matter while bringing structure to the many details behind them. That means you enjoy more of the design process without feeling responsible for keeping every selection, specification, question, and next step in your head.
The goal is not only a home you fall in love with, but also a clearer, calmer way of getting there.
grounded by nature. defined by design.

VALUES
DESIGN BUILT ON TRUST
A beautiful outcome requires a well-run foundation. Clear communication, realistic expectations, and organized systems guide every project. Clients know where things stand, what’s
coming next, and how decisions are made – creating a process defined by transparency, reliability, and care.
DESIGN GUIDED BY INTENTION
Design at WellHaven is guided by purpose, place, and clarity. Each home is approached in context – honoring its architecture, surroundings, and daily rhythms – to create spaces that feel cohesive, enduring, and balanced. With a focus on longevity and harmony, the result is inspiring design that is refined, livable, and built to last.
DEsigning around you
Every client, home and project is distinct. We take the time to understand how you live, what you’re drawn to, and what you hope to accomplish – shaping your project around your priorities and budget. The result is a home that reflects your personal style, supports daily life, and meaningfully enhances how you experience your space.
